My uncle (hubby of dad's sister) went to hospital yesterday. My father just told me he was chatting to my aunt on msn last night, and that he had a rotten tooth he left without treatment, it poisoned his blood and body, also that he has a growth on his chest he hasn't been monitoring. Apparently he could've died last night. My father says that my aunt was sort of bossed a bit by my uncle to get her health in check, as she gets very sick, so putting her ahead of himself and thinking he is an invincible male, he didn't go to the doctor.

My aunt/uncle are extremely devout Christians, so lots of prayers if possible, and good thoughts. My father is trying to get hold of my nan to get an update but no one's answering the phone.

My aunt is beside herself, she's got a friend looking after the two girls. I'm not crying and fretting, i don't have a close relationship with him, but he is a nice person. But they've been through alot of crap health and money wise, so i just want to find out what's happening.

Thanks.

Edit: i just googled and apparently it is septicemia

Apparently there isn't much to update. He's still there. He didn't want to go because he is a macho man and thinks he doesn't need doctors. My aunt does not trust doctors and calls them butchers. I was told she was screaming at them when he was admitted
have to find out about this lump on his chest, whether is is benign or malignant, it's just a wait. I'm a third wheel as there are other people in line waiting for information too

Well it seems to have worked
he came home last night. Two weeks of anti-biotics, needs to have the tooth pulled, and apparently the lump has always been there, he's just never allowed a doctor to come close enough! it might be a boney growth on his chest plate or just something out of place, that's never bugged him

Thanks guys
