i took her to the vet today, she is not dehydrated. worst case scenerio it could be inflammatory bowel disease. right now we are going to try antibiotics for a week and a low residue diet. i asked about her teething, and he doesn't think she is teething early, he thinks she is just older than we thought, so instead of 3.5 months, she is 5.5 months, just a petite kitty, she weighed 5.5 pounds today, up a pound from the last time we were there 3 weeks ago. so in a week i call the vet to update him, or sooner if she refuses to eat the low residue diet. the antibiotic is liquid and is going to be ever so much fun! he said at least with a pill you can try again if they get it out, but with a liquid you have to get more of it. he didn't have a pill small enough for her.

no, ammoxicilian. i had no trouble giving it to her tonight. it smells exactly the same as the stuff my son gets, so maybe she likes the taste of it. she likes to hide under my bed when she is scared and i can't have her hiding when i need to give her medicine in the morning before work at 6am, so i cut up cardboard boxes to line the bottom of my bed so she can't get under. of course it confused the heck out of her and scared her, but now she is laying next to me purring, so maybe blocking her hiding spot is a good thing.
