Molly (kitty hitler) decided she wanted to go on vacation with me. I was loading the car to leave Friday & had left a car door open while I put stuff in. Got the car loaded & headed out. Drive 30 minutes & stop at Wal Mart to get bottles of water & pop.

All the sudden I hear "squeak sqeauk squeak". (Molly squeaks, she doesn't meow) Turn around to see a mustached kitty sitting happily in the back seat!

Sorry Molly, you wouldn't be happy on a 9-10 hour drive....and SIL is allergic to kitties. Molly went back home then.

I cannot believe she was so quiet all the way to WalMart, for 30 minutes!
My boys would have been all over the car

Silly Molly, no vacation for you!

I've been lucky my kitty has only ran out the door after me, I have never been 30 minutes away and find her.
She must have known somthing was going on when you packed up the car and didn't want to be left alone, it's kinda sweet.... She Luvs Her Meowmy

Molly is a tactful cat. She'll bolt into the house from the garage(she's a farm kitty, lives in the garage & comes into the house often). She never tries to hide from you either, she's bolted in & vaulted into the nearest lap!

There's a video in Fur Pics of her sqeaking in the house. I wub her sqeaky.

Molly's also gone home with the neighbor once & with the lady I cat sit for. Oh, and she's been to grandma's too.

That happened to us several years ago. We were loading the van for a trip and then took off to get our driving drinks from the convenience store. We were almost there when mom said something and I reached down between the seats to get my purse.

Instead I got a handful of kitty! One of ours had crawled in and was quietly laying between us. Luckily we were only 3 1/2 miles from home.

The fact that she waited 30 minutes shows considerable intelligence. She's probably thinking, "Drats, shoulda kept quiet for at least another 65 miles"

She thinks she wants to be a housecat now again.
I wish she'd make up her mind one way or another so I can get her settled either inside or outside(preferably inside)!

HUMMM two HUGE issues in the way of that..

ONE she is a KITTY and only allows you to live indoors and TWO she is a GIRL

That is so cute. Who says kitties won't ride well in the car? Poor Molly just wanted to go have dinner with the rest of the family. Too bad there was someone allergic there.
Fred used to go to work with me. He would fall asleep on my back seat and wouldn't wake up until I was about halfway there. Luckily it was only about 2 miles to work. He also fell asleep in a big tote bag and nearly went into my locker. It was always really heavy, and he was a small cat, so it barely made a difference once he dragged a few things out of it. Silly boy.
