do i trim the back claws?

My kitty's back nails are getting on the long side and he's starting to snag his paws on rugs, etc. Is it okay to trim the back nails?

It's fine to trim all thier claws. You do all of them the same, and they don't usually get as long as the front

Thanks for the help. We finally got him to sit still for the front ones tonight, but didn't want to cut the back ones if we weren't supposed to.
