As I posted in Vibes for Missy, Missy vomited Saturday and Sunday mornings and has really runny diarrhea Sunday. She seemed normal on Saturday but was very lethargic Sunday until late evening when she started half-heartedly wrestling with Junior.

I called the vet on Sunday and she said to stop giving Missy wet food even though she didn't throw up Saturday night so I did so. Yesterday Missy seemed completely healthy but I only gave her dry food. This morning she once again has very runny diarrhea but I haven't found any vomit anywhere.

I'll call the vet again when they open a little later but could the EVO dry be causing her diarrhea? I've read on here that it is really rich and some cats can't handle it. Missy won't eat the Nutro Complete Care Kitten or the Felidae Cat and Kitten food I've bought for her but she does eat the EVO and seems to like it.

The vet had me drop off a stool sample which I did and it came back negative so the vet thinks it is a food sensitivity issue. When I asked if she thought it was the EVO dry or the Friskies pouches she said the pouches but I'm not so sure. I haven't given Missy a pouch since Sunday morning yet she had diarrhea this morning. Also, my vet is of the "dry food only" line of thought so may be predisposed towards dry food anyway.

If it is most likely the Friskies, should I leave her on a dry food only diet? This means I'll have to switch Junior back as well, which I'm not looking forward to.

If it is most likely the EVO dry, should I start blending in a different dry or switch her straight to the new? If the EVO is causing it, I don't want to continue giving it to her. I picked up some Nutro MaxCat Gourmet chicken kitten food and she seemed to like it when I gave her a little bit earlier.

What do the experts on here think? Is it more likely the Friskies or the EVO? According to the shelter paperwork she was fed IAMS dry food prior to me getting her so both the Friskies and the EVO are new to her.
