Still honest people in the world

Last night I was at the gas station and the guy in front of me had gas but didn't have his wallet. One attendant said he if he gave them his plate number he could go get it. He said he lived right down the road. The other attendant acted like she didn't want him to. I asked how much his gas was and he said 15 dollars. I had the money so I decided to trust him and pay for the gas. I waited there and he returned with my money!!! It's good to know people are still trustworthy.

I think there are definitely good people left in the world. The problem is, they are far outweighed by the nasty people.

I think there are tons of us honest people out there, but unfortunately the liars ruin it for us........good for you for taking a chance on this guy!

As much as I want to give people the benefit of the doubt I find it very hard... particularly when money is involved as I've had someone I considered a very good friend screw me out of almost $1,000. I'm glad it worked out for you.... and it always makes me feel good to hear stories like this.

That's a great story. Like it was said, to bad the liars and bad eggs outweigh us good honest ones. I'm glad you took a chance and weren't burned.

Yes, it's really too bad that the liars have to spoil it for the honest people (or teach them and make them dishonest )

I second that emotion!!!

I think the thing that will stick out in this story is not him being honest but your willingness to help out a stranger. I always say a stranger is just a friend you haven't met yet. Or atleast till they prove me wrong and I try to approach people like that.
