As many of you know it has been an ongoing hassle with Riley's fur. He HATES combing and brushing, and hates even worse when I trim the mats that he won't let me comb out.
He really doesn't seem to like being petted even, except the rare occasion when he gets on my lap and wants to be loved on. Every time I end up gouged and bleeding. I believe I have some permanent scars from some of the scratches and bites!
Well, Riley was sleeping very soundly last night so I approached him with the Furminator (the most hated one of all) because he was quite shaggy looking. He actually lay there and let me comb out one side of his body for nearly 5 minutes!
Of course the minute I touched his belly he started hissing and slapping so I had to quit, but that is a new record for one of our "grooming sessions"!
