Hi! On Friday I adopted a pair of 7 month old kitties from a girl who had had them since kittenhood... she adopted the as strays but now has to move away. They are a male and a female named Hudson and Skylar. Both kitties have the siamese look... light bodies with dark points.. face, ears, legs/paws and Hudson's tail... They both have beautiful blue eyes. Skylar has no tail at all and has longer fur. Its only been two days but we are already so in love. Both are such big babies, wantng to be held or petted all the time it seems. Skylar even slept in our bed last night! She had been showing lots of interest the past two nights but she is alittle shier than her brother (Hudson likes to visit before we fall asleep for his loving but doesn't seem to really want to sleep there). They are both still on the jumpy side as we all get used to each other... I have a toddler and they have never been around one full-time. But really, they are great and we are so excited to have them! Pictures soon, I promise! =)

Hi, welcome to TCS. I am so glad that you have joined this wonderful community.
We love to hear about each others kitties. Hudson and Saylar are beautiful.
Their adorable picture is a bit large which makes it difficult for members with dial-up to view it.
If you need help with re-sizing pics just let me know.

If you have questions about the site, just click on my username, send a private message with your question, I will get back to you asap. See you around the site.

I am glad that your sweeties picture is back...
It would make a really cute signature.
I will send you a PM about how to have that done.

Welcome to TCS! I don't know that much about cat breeds, but is it possible that tailess Skylar is a Manx cat? I know that if one cat has no tail in the litter that the littermates can have tails. I don't know about the Siamese trait, though. Do you know?

I have NO idea lol. The ad I answered to adopt them just said "siamese" and I am a sucker for some pretty blue eyes
. I did find out from her old owner that said she knew the mama kitty... mama looked almost exactly like Hudson except longer fur (like Skylar) and Skylar was the only one of 6 born with no tail.
