Has Anyone Ever....

Have you ever coughed or sneezed so hard that you ended up pulling a muscle? I did that the other day. Coughed and pulled a muscle in my right side. Man, that smarts!

I think I have done that too! I don't play around when I sneeze. You can hear me for blocks!

hmmmm. My hiccups are unusually painful too. I have had people worry about how hard I hiccup at work before... hehhee

Never pulled a muscle but I have coughed so hard during a sinus infection that I bruised several ribs.

OH yes several times!! One time I did it I finished up in a neck brace for three weeks!! If I sneeze too hard, I throw out my trapezius, which causes problems all they way up my back and over one shoulder. I've done it every summer for the last three or four years. This last time I was treated with acupuncture, muscle relaxants and serious pain killers. I felt like I was drunk for a good fortnight! Not fun!
