Do you know what channel your cat is watching?

We got our new flat screen TV set up and we are watching the Discovery Channel in HD. Butzie has always been into TV, but all of a sudden, while we were watching, she jumped up in front of the TV and batted her paw in the air - twice. My husband was LOL because there was a lizard on that new, big TV and, by golly,she was going to catch that lizard!

When we went out of town last year, my mom would come by and take care of the cats. She always put it on animal planet because she said they liked to watch it. She said they would sit on the table and watch tv for hours!

Aw that's so cute! In this house, Noodles prefers the TV when it's off! She'll stand there and stare into it for quite a while!

Update on Butzie and the TV
She is on the bed in front of that big screen and so engrossed by it. On the Discovery channel, there was bit with a bird and her eyes opened wide. Next we had the leopards and she got a little more interested. Then there were some baby rats or something and she went into full crouch position. Next were the elephants and she looked, curled up as if she weren't there, went to sleep and she sure hoped I was there next to her.
I sure hope Discovery HD channel is 24x7 because my husband is asleep and he didn't tell me which of these 3 remotes we have that will shut off the TV without ruining our service.
