Just wondering for those of you who are married, what was yours and your SO first dance at your wedding? Was there a significance?

DH and I danced to "Time in a Bottle" by Jim Croche.

Ours was All I want by Toad the wet Sprocket. Now it's my cell ringer for him only!

Ours was More as sung by Bobby Darin......

Come Rain or Come Shine by B.B. King and Eric Clapton.

Ours was going to be "Masterpiece" by "Atlantic Starr" but Jodi (my fiancée) was killed in a car accident on 08/13/94 (2 months before our wedding date). I haven't gotten married since.

Thanks but it's OK. It's been 13 years and I started dating again 4-5 years ago so I'm good. I still visit her grave every year or so though.

Mine was "Feels so Right" by Alabama....but we got divorced so I guess it didn't feel right enough.....lmao. I think "My Best Friend" by Tim McGraw or "Me and You" by Kenney Chesney would be perfect wedding songs.

We actually had TWO wedding songs---his song to me and mine to him. His song to me was "The WOnder of You" by Elvis and mine to him was "Count on Me," by Jefferson Starship.

These are some great songs!! I love it that most of you went the "untraditional" route

My ex's and I's was by Edwin McCain, something like "These are the moments, I've been waiting for all my life" I can never remember the title of the dang song!! pretty soon I couldn't wait for the moment the marriage was over

I Jefferson Starship/Airplane! I would have played "Miracles" at my wedding, but, oops! that was "our" song from the first guy who asked me to marry him. Didn't marry him and didn't think my hubby would approve of that song.
Oh! We had a Spanish student from Madrid visiting us for the summer 5 years ago and we took her to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. There was Jefferson Starship, Marty Balin, singing "Count on Me" and "Miracles." For free! I was in 7th heaven!
