Friday I went to the store and stocked up on Popsies' wet food. I bought the exact same kind I always feed him but he won't eat it. I wonder if there's something wrong with it. He's eating his dry so his appetite is ok. He's also drinking more water than he was. That might be because he's not getting water from the wet food though. I don't know what's going on but it's frustrating.

Maybe he's tired of that kind. You could try getting a different brand/flavor to see if he eats that. My Cynthia will eat a brand/flavor one day and reject it the next.

Or maybe there is something wrong with it that he can smell.

Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!
It could be there's something wrong with the food. Drinking more water could be because he's not eating the wet - they do get moisture from that. I don't know how much more water he's drinking - but if it's "a lot" more, then it could be he's sick with something. Changes in eating patterns and habits can be (but aren't necessarily) a sign of illness. It's a judgment call on your part.

Try a different wet food, and see what happens!

Mind if I ask what kind of food it is? Maybe others can tell you if they've had any problems.

He started eating his wet again last night. Maybe he just decided to take a short break from it.
