Sunday! What's On Your Agenda?

Morning All!

Another really snowy morning here in Cottage Country. We had at least 8" overnight and it is still snowing. Not overly cold though which is good because we had a very day yesterday.

Just finished my snow clean-up for the morning and am having some hot chocolate before I head off to work. Hoping to be finished up by 2 then am going out shopping and to dinner with my neice.
I actually haven't been out for dinner in ages so am quite looking forward to it.

Well since the Nor'easter is still going on (high winds, rain/snow, eventually the tide will come in and flood a little), I'm not going anywhere.

It's the perfect excuse for me to clean up my office area and little spots I have through out the house.

Woke up to heavy snow...So not doing much today.Going to stay right home and do some xmas cooking. Fudge and needhams.Might also make some cookies.

I just have to work today 8-5 and then I will just come home and hang out with the furbabies.. probably take a nap too but that never happens.

We're going to go look at a house whenever John gets up. Then we need to go to the store to pick up a few things. After that it's just waiting around the house for a guy to come and look at some Volkswagen parts that John is selling.

Just sitting here, drinking my coffee, wondering when the guy is going to come plow my driveway. We got about 8-10 inches of snow last night and the road plows have plowed the end of my driveway shut. No way am I going to attempt that with the snowblower and my bad back! Cleaning, writing bills and Cleo's fluids are about all I have planned for today. I'm officially sick of snow now.....

Not much planned.

I might try to go get a few things at the groceries, but there's a lot of snow outside.
I should probably go now though... the snow isn't gonna get any better.

Right now I'm listening to the radio, I have Kinah on my lap and just finished having breakfast. It's nice to be lazy sometimes.

Later I want to make two batches of soup: one of split pea soup, and one of beet soup.

I might also do a bit of baking.

Ok, I'm off to the groceries now. Sorry Kinah, you're gonna have to move.

I've been up since 5 AM so all my cleaning is done.
Then we'll get all the kids ready, go to Mass at 11:30.
If my Sister and BIL made it off the hill they live on to get to Mass they'll come here, we'll watch football and then eat supper.

I don't know if they'll make it though, it snowed early yesterday evening, then we got ice overnight and now it's snowing really hard again.
If my BIL isn't here at least I'll only have to listen to my Husband rant and rave at the football game

I tell him all the time if he thinks he could do better to put on a uniform and show up at Hines Field.

ohh gosh. im supposed to go into work but im in the part of ontario that's getting 35 + cm of snow and right now it's a white out, so driving is not an option.......and the winds and snow are ridiculous so the 20-30 minute walk isn't looking fun. ugggh.

I just woke up about an hour ago..am sitting here enjoying my coffee. My landlord signed for 2 packages for me so I picked them up I am not opening them yet until I get ahold of the senders ONE OF THE PACKAGES SAYS DA BIRD ON IT

For my bday I got 13 scratch cards and I won $11 out of them so thats cool..will probably go cash those today..while I get groceries.

I am pretty well snowed in so not sure if I will actually make it out though..maybe just stay in and clean. I feel alot better today..pretty well at 100%

I have some serious laundry to do today. Might go out for a bit and try to finish some Christmas shopping. Spend some quality time with Phoebe because I work long hours during the day now. And then I have a date tonight.

Lousy Smarch weather!!

That's it, I am NOT going back outside today.

I just came back from the groceries and the sidewalks were covered in snow, it's freezing cold, it's snowing so much that I could barely see in front of me, and the wind was blowing snow in my face.

Now I'm gonna make myself some tea and take a few minutes to warm myself up.

Then I'm gonna do some cooking, maybe study or read a little. Whatever I feel like doing. It's a lazy day.

A date tonight! How exciting! My husband and I have been married 25 years and I forgot what a joy a date is. We do go out for dinner most Saturday nights without the kids which I guess is like a date.
Like our Emily-with-the-date from Georgia, this transplanted woman, from NY (so I know snow) to California, doesn't have any snow but I think GA and CA could use some much needed rain so send us some vibes!
I would gladly send someone to plow any one of you out if you would come and clean my husband's office and my house!

I finished most of my shopping yesterday so , I have to do some wrapping, I am going to make some shortbread, probably do some laundry, sunday is my lazy day, I might jusr curl up on the couch with some hot chocolate,

work soon.. 6 projects 4 stores and one demo

We got some SERIOUS rain here last night thank goodness. But we could so use some more...
