I am assuming by Leaf Nation that you are in the GTA - they now sell Da Bird at Petsmart and they are only $8 with their card

It works all right.
You have to try the fur & the sparkle attachments. Each of my kitties like a different one. It's so cute!

So, Da Bird finally showed up today. I no sooner had it out of the package and Junior was all over it. As others stated, he played so hard he was panting afterwards.

Missy seemed scared of it for the first minute or two. However, once she got the courage to check it out, Junior would hiss at her and she would back off. Hopefully the newness will wear off and Junior will let her play with it without me having to lock him in another room.

haha. yes I'm in the GTA, but I already got my da bird!! It was 20$ with shipping and 5 refills so I think that's not so bad!!

Here are some really bad pictures! hard to take when you are the one holding the wand! Cello got it off the counter after we were done playing while I was on the phone and I was laughing so hard at the tug of war between us that ensued that I couldn't get it away from him!

Glad I got the refills!

He sits by whereever I put it and meows until I pick it up again!! LOL

Tug of War with me!! hahaha he is strong!

my attempt at an action shot

honestly though, best cat toy ever!

My Da Bird arrived yesterday. Both cats love it, but I think I'll need to separate them if Carter is ever going to get to use it! Lorelei goes nuts for this thing! The best part is when she actually catches it...she growls like a dog when its in her mouth. Carter loves it too, but Lorelei totally dominates Da Bird time. I'd feel guilty if Carter wasn't such a bully over the other toys

My cats are like that too. Its just Da Bird in the feather on a string dept. they like. I keep mine in a drawer so they wont eat the feathers or the string, but when I open that drawer, they all come running to play

I found Da Bird at our new PetSmart on Friday, so pretty much bought them out! The boys and my new grandcat Ashton are all getting one for Christms!

If they do not sell it overseas, it is incredibly easy to make. The spinner is just a fishing lure spinner, available for dirt cheap at any fishing store. Craft stores will sell bags of feathers for like a couple of bucks.

I actually use an old fishing rod, with a heavy weight line (like what you'd use for deepsea fishing, or marlin/swordfish fishing) so that way I can just reel it back in. LOL.

I call it "catfishing" lol.
