Well up to date here is what I have made

4 Cherry Loaves
4 Lemmon Loaves
4 Gumdrop loaves
2 batches of Ginger snaps
1 batch Sugar Cookies
1 batch shortbread cookies
1 batch Gumdrop cookies

I still have to bake the following

Cherry Balls
Chocolate turtles (the ones with the fried noodles)
Peanutbutter balls
Maple Fudge
Chocolate Fudge
Peanut Brittle
Pepermint and Cinamon hard candy
and Caramel Almond popcorn

I remind you all of these are gifts and will mostly not be eaten by me but I might have to eat some to get enough energy to finnish the bakeing. I think I will get most of it done on Sunday.

Who else is a CRAZY IDIOT about bakeing this time of Year???

My nephew and I are going to be doing our baking next week, most likely starting Tuesday. We're making most of the standards - chocolate chip, sugar cookies, peanut butter cookies. But we're also making walnut crescents, Italian little knot cookies, stained glass ornaments, and checkerboard cookies. We may try truffles...it depends on how adventurous I feel and how well he is behaving.

That is an impressive list of cookies!!

I usually make just one batch: peanut butter kiss cookies (the ones with a Hershey's Kiss in the middle). Yum!
