Hi,
My hubby and I grew up with multiple cats, all lived to be late teens or twenties. I would have taken my childhood kitty with me when I moved after college, but Lucky couldn't handle leaving his territory (parents' house and backyard). I was heartbroken when he died of kidney failure at the age of 18. For many years I avoided having kitties because I felt like none of them could be as good as my giant red tabby baby had been.
Hubby and I finally are settled into a house we own- and a lifestyle where we could give a kitty the attention they deserve. We adopted Brown Boots (sealpoint Siamese mix) from a private cat shelter last weekend at the cat show in Downtown Seattle.
I will stop typing now, I just love talking about my Bootsie and will probably bore everyone to death LOL
