Is there another vet you can go to. My Vet was full to but they let me come anyway because my Cats were very sick. They charged me a er visit though.

haha, Im so use to getting charged for the ER visit that to me its a normal visit! They charge you the $33 to bring them in for an apt, then $33 more dollars if its after hours, $33 more dollars if they so much as touch your kitty and so on and so forth! From what Ive heard from you guys though, I have a pretty cheap vet so Im not complaining! My kitties never cost over 100 to get them fixed or anything so, they're pretty decent. Unless you get the occasional middle of the night " Im a horse Doctor, not a cat doctor, what do you want me to do about it??"

As for Eek and BooBoo today, they seem to be fine right up until they get their meds, then they're sleeeppppyyyy. They pass out like two bumps on a rock! Maybe its just because they're not use to the meds though!

P.S. EEK ALMOST WEIGHS 2 LBS!!! HOLLY COW!!

With Boris it was like that every day he was on clamavox when he had a URI. They're gonna be lower activity period while they are getting over their cold. The good news is that once they are done with the meds, they'll more than make up for it.

As long as they are eating, they'll be fine. It's really hard when they have a URI so bad that they can't really smell the food, so they start not eating... The vet recommended the smellier the food the better while Boris was getting over the URI, so that the smell would remind him there's food. I ended up getting him ocean fish flavored food, it was stinky but he gobbled it down like he had never been fed before. If that hadn't done the trick, I probably would have had to feed him appropriate (no onions or other ingredients deadly to a cat) baby food (it's one of those emergency options if a cat is not eating).

But as it sounds like they are both eating for now, you just have to wait the clamavox out.

Yah, I hate the meds they put them on but love the cats to feel better!

I hate that dewormer crap though, I swear to godd its evil! He hates that stuff so much that I think its worse than the other stuff! After a few hours though they get a sudden *BURST* and let loose and just run crazy through the house!

EEK was born on Oct 27th which is weird because thats my birthday and I had to squeeze it out of the pet shot because they didn't know either! I think the people had told them they were 7 weeks old which is okay because once I figured he was still a little dude I gave him a bottle and all seemed to calm down! He is just a little tyke, cute as can be, the vet said the other day when I took him in at that time that he thought he was no older than 7 weeks but I think he was just the runt! (which is always my favorite!) So I think he's right around 9 weeks old.... He's about 2 lbs (getting REALLY close)
So he's getting big, he was less than 1/2 lb when I got him so he looks HUGE to me! I think he's feeling better today though, Im kinda nervous about all the worming meds, but I have faith that the vet knows what he's been doing since he's been taking care of my babies for 7 years!

Someone wanna do me a favor and kick me in the head!!

I went to answer the door for the pizza man, I ordered pizza because I have a house full of stray childred, anyway, I went to shut the door and felt something in the door, I opened the door back up and it was EEK. Ya, He's okay but I still feel like a bad cat mommy, especially since BooBoo has a broken leg (healed that way, they'll remove it if need be) From the exact same thing!!!!! ARGGG!!

Im really starting to think Eek is a few sandwhiches short of a picnic!! He just got into the pizza and I had ordered some bbq chicken wings... HE HAD A PIECE OF CHICKEN STUCK IN HIM MOUTH! BONE N ALL!!!

Keep in mind he's eating rather well today and there is no need to eat chicken bones... (It was a whole piece of chicken but ya know...he ate it..)
The only reason I noticed it was in there is because he fell off the table.... Yeah...

Yup, the naughty ones are always the cutest! Ive kind of always been drawn to the ones that are mentally handicapped too! Ive had a total of 4 "special" kitties and they were always great! The most loving kitties you would ever find!

You have to be careful with any cooked chicken bone, it can splinter anywhere in the body, once going into the mouth until it comes out. Cats should never eat cooked chicken bones, ever. Keep and eye on him. And make sure the BarbQ doesnt have any onions or garlic in it, which are toxic to cats.

ARG!!! My dumb butt didn't even think about the garlic and onion in the bbq sauce!

I took it away from him as soon as he fell off the table and I realized it was stuck in his mouth, he was angry with me but he'll get over it! LOL

Thanks for the words of wisdom though, sometime my brain doesn't click right!

Little EEK is okay right now! He had a hard day yesterday due to his last dose of dewormer! He's still very cuddly but has got a little energy back today! Im still giving him clavamox but I dont know if Im giving it often enough due to the fact my husband is an idiot and threw the directions away!
I hope he starts feeling like a brand new kitty soon though!!
