Eek apparently has a bad case of worms and a bad URI and parasites!! Icky!
And here the next issue, They want to worm him 3 times this week! Is that safe?? They said that the parasites are making him shake! So now they want to kill the worms and parasites off and I have to give him a ton of medicine to get over his upper respitory infection and poor BooBoo has a URI also! Good lord!

I forgot to mention that while I was there this poor lady and her husband brought in there kitty who was 22 years old. The kitty looked okay to me... but Im no vet! So they went in the room, they opened the door and I could see her crying and I was like oh godd. This is terrible! I knew what was happening and she came out carrying her kitty in a blanket just like I had done One month and One day ago!! It was awful!!

Worms, AHA! I have to pass on deciding if 3 times in one week is ok. I've only had one cat with worms ever and it was a tapeworm.

I would have never thought it could have been! I didn't know parasites make them shake at all! Never heard of that one before! They think maybe the kitten brought the URI in with him though and that he passed it to BooBoo

Another ?

When they took Eeks blood they took him in the back, when he came out he was wet from the neck down!! They said it was just alcahol but why so much?? You can see they poked him more than once and got him once in the neck too. What for?

I've had that happen too. They have to take samples in different tubes to test for different things. I understand that it's all taken from the neck. And they come back all alcohol soaked sometimes.

Im so lucky to have people who know what they're talking about like you Kluchetta!! Id be lost without you! LOL

He almost looks worse now than he did before he went to the vet???
His fur is all icky, and he looks like he needs a bath, Im kind of inclined to give him one, you think thats okay?? He is just scared of everything right now so I dont really want to put him through it, but darn he just looks nasty!! When they brought BooBoo back to me he didn't even have alcahol on him but he was only there for a fever and some coughing so they probably tested for different stuff!!

If you can keep him warm enough after the bath, it would probably be ok. But a blow dryer might scare him. If he still has a uri I wouldn't though.

No they said he has an Upper respitory infection so I guess he stays nasty a little longer, oh well. He's still cute! I just hope all this medicine makes him better!

OMG! I have just gotten back on here and I am so sorry for you and all you and your babies are going through! what complete jerks those on call vets. or er vets. why are they even there, if no one can do tests etc. That would have drove me straight to crazy waiting all freakin weekend! Sometimes you have to wonder!!!!

GiGi had worms but it never got to her like eek! She just looked so pregnant
at a young age, and ate and drank like there was no tomorrow!
I wouldn't give eek a bath, maybe in a day or so just use a pretty warm washcloth/little soap then dry some towels in the dryer, not to hot, but wrap eek up with them, and switch them out with another one! but only if the dr.
allows, eek will be back to normal before long thank goodness! and you can clean him up then!
I'm still prayin for eek and Boo Boo, I didn't know they could give each other
UTI's? Wow! Anyway hang in there!!!!! Take care of yourself as well as the babe's!!!

CarWashCat: They have URI's not urinary tract infection!
URI's are apparently contagious Between cats! A URI Is an Upper Respitory Infection !

UTI= Urinary tract infection

URI= Upper Respitory Infection

So it ought to be a long evening with my babies!
