Do your cats run like crazy after they go to the bathroom?

Sash is such a funny boy, after he's done going potty he takes off full speed running through the kitchen and living room and then behind the entertainment center and anything else in his way.
It usually happens after he poops, but sometimes after he pees he takes off too. It always melts my heart to see.

Do your kitties freak out after they go potty too?

Our cats do that too! Don't know why but they go tearing around the house like mad kitties after they go to the bathroom, those silly rascals! It sure is hilarious!

Hey - they are a little lighter on their feet!

Actually, none of my cats do that but both of my (OTB) greyhounds did just that. It was hysterical.

Oh yes, all the time! It's even funnier when one is using one litter box and another is using a litter box across the room... then they run out at the same time, not paying a bit of attention and run straight into each other!

It's hilarious to see, they're so excited and full of energy that they run as fast as they can to the opposite side of the room... and never see the other cat coming.

Dexter runs from his butt before he goes...
His ears go back...
his eyes go blank then he take off running.

Finally his mind catches up with his rump and he jumps into his box and begins his litter storm.

He is very predictable.

Ha! Dexter must look so cute. Sash runs sometimes before he goes too!

Not all the time, but usually when Bella has left something that makes me want to run too

LOL, yeah! Chynna routinely does this. It's quite fun to see my 15 year old love bug flying around the house. I have hardwood floors and she can't get traction so quite often she ends up running in one spot before she actually goes anywhere!

I haven't noticed Abby have a "kitten moment" after going potty though.

My two yr old ragdoll does, it is like she has come out pounds lighter, she zooms about madly and often has a bit stuck on her

glad to hear I'm not the only one that has cats that do this!

Sydney especially, her back starts to twitch, she makes this funny chirping meow and she's off!

Wow i always just thought my baby was weird!

As soon as he's pooped, or had a drink from the tap he zooms off down the hallway (add galloping sound effects on floorboards!!) goes straight for his favourite couch, flips underneath and looks like a psychotic little thing

Usually after he does #2 he runs like a nut, and about a minute later, I'm realizing why... he's stunk out the room!

Yeah, it's so goofy.
Popsie does it after he poops and I think he must feel good after going.
