Last night, right before I went to bed, I started a load of wash. We had a freeze and so guess what? This morning my load of laundry is frozen in the machine! Do I have to wait for the Spring Thaw now before I wear them again?

Gee, I am usually so full of good advice, but I have none here in Florida. How about you, Cindy? Is your laundry freezing up out there in Arizona?

Oh my goodness! I never knew that could happen! WHy not try pouring a bucket of hot water onto it - they will already be wet anyway.

Movin' on up!
Kellye's idea seems to be the most sensible.

I've never had frozen laundry. My laundry room is in the house.

Our new addition is about 17' x 30' and will eventually be the extension of the master bedroom, bathroom, kichen, laundryroom and dining room. The walls are up- but there is a huge area where the back porch and door will be that isn't enclosed right now. The washing machine is right near that opening.
And though the walls and windows are in- the siding isn't put up nor is the insulation in the walls. We are doing it all ourselves, so it is taking a lot of time to do.

I think after that, you'll need to take it through the 'spin' cycle again. Soaking wet laundry will take forever to dry! Or, just peel it out of the washer and toss it (gently...you don't want to break anything) into the dryer.
