I currently have our two kittens on Solid Gold Katz N Flocken (I'm sure I spelled that wrong). They've been on it for a couple of weeks (prior to that I was transitioning them from another food). They both still have diarrhea, and I am wondering if a different food would be better. Is Solid Gold too rich? I'm open for suggestions.

I'm using dry food until I can settle their tummies, then I'm going to slowly introduce wet. Last time I gave them wet food, it was a digestive disaster of epic proportions, and the vet recommended I wait until they are a bit older to try that again.

Solid gold is quite grainy.. you may want to try something with one or two meats and one or two grains.... Natural choice and California natural are the first two that come to mine

I like the idea of California Natural, it just seemed to always click for my sensitive tummy kitties.

Thanks so much. I bought some CA Natural, so we'll see how that goes.

So we've been on CA Natural for a couple of weeks or so (after gradually switching over), and Edward (dsh 6 months) has had horrible diarrhea since. I'm talking about flicked on the wall around the catbox bad.

How long should this last? Should I change their food again?

He was fully vetted by the rescue before I got him, several weeks ago.

Malcolm (dmh 4 months) had diarrhea on Katz n Flocken but Edward was fine. Now it is reversed.
