Need Information about Birmans

Hi all,

I am a persian breeder, but a friend of mine is considering to become a birman breeder.

during her search for birmans sh has encountered the term "Resus Factor". Does any of you know what this mean? and weather it relates to a genetic desiase in the breed.

I would like to know as much as possible about possible genetic desease in this breed a reputable breeder should test for. in persians its PKD. but since I know nothing about Birmans I turn to any of you.
