Hi everyone! A brief introduction for those of you who don't know me: I'm an ex-pat living in China and have two little kittens who I took in off the street. The latest health hurdle is Ear Mites. Medicine for animals is basically unheard of here in China, so...
I was wondering if anyone knew of any non-medicinal remedies for Ear Mites?
I've done some Googling and the best I could come up with was putting Mineral Oil in their ears... apparently this drowns the mites? But my fiancee and I are very concerned with what we're supposed to do next... how does that gooey oil get back OUT of their ears?
So far we've been q-tipping the "coffee grounds" out as fast as we can, but we need some help coming up with a way to help these two critters that doesn't involve Western veterinary medicines that we have no access to.
Any ideas?
