And now I'm not tired.....

I woke up not feeling well this morning and my whole day consisted of sleeping, bathroom trips and eating a full bag of crackers.

I finally ventured out of my bed around 5pm and now.....everyone is asleep but me!

*sigh*

Guess you guys have to put up with me longer than usual tonight!

Well Ghys,

I didn't sleep the whole day away, but I did have a nice long nap this afternoon and I'm up and raring to go. Usually I'm in bed by 10 but that is so not happening tonight. I'll try and stay up with you!

Yay! I'm so glad I'm not alone!

Let's see...anything we can talk about that hasn't been talked about in other posts????

Oh yeah......

I am sooooo looking forward to March 10. I have a week off! i think it will do me wonders. Last monday, I was discussing with my husband that I was considering staying home for good. I think that is a sign that I need a rest. I would miss my job if I quit and probably would never find one I liked as much. I think after a week of rest and sleeping in (hubby knows I am not getting up in the morning to make his lunch and toast that week) perhaps I will be able to shake whatever I have.

I know that feeling. I wish I could call in mentally wiped out, and take off a week. It's not that I don't like what I do, it's just that I'd like to not think about my research for more than a day or two every now and then.

I read somewhere that a majority of sick days are not for physical illness, but for mental burnout. I know I've called in "sick" when I just needed a day off to think about nothing. I think the Europeans have it right, with longer vacations for their workers. Although, I had one month off between jobs and I was bored after a week and a half.

Yep- we had decided to take a week's vacation the end of the month for our anniversary, but I don't think we will now. Mike's mom re-broke her hip and is back in the hospital and we think probably sticking around would be the best thing to do.

Ghys - I am sorry i wasnt here, I went and had a bath and then went to bed, its now morning here and I am so tired, I feel like I cannot wake up. Ugh.
I had another horrible nightmare, this time that I was a casualty of war and they shot me and I faked being dead so I could escape. It was scary.

Tamme...sorry I wasn't still here at 3:13am. Guess you;re sleeping in this morning huh???

Kellye, not a problem...today we'll play catch up! Wow! What wicked dreams you have. Poor you. You must be exhausted the next morning. Think maybe it's the oils that we are burning? Have you tried anything new that you did not have in the past? Sometimes scents can play a trick on our minds...just a thought. Or, are you snacking before bed?

I have always burned scents, so that cant be it. Hubby looked it up and he said that being shot is symbolic of deep wounds, and you could say I have some.

I will be jumping back in and forth today, depending on whether hubby uses the computer for his homework. I am also watching a lifetime movie about a girl who finds out she has HIV.

So the scents are out....

At least hubby looked it up for you and you know why it's happening. Hope you don't have dreams like that every night. Poor you....

I have had recurring dreams that I am drowning and at the last minute, someone always yanks me up and throws me into a boat. I am saved....and then I wake up. Weird....Hey, can you ask your hubby what that may mean? (I haven't had a chance to look at the dream website yet.....
) It's been a while since I've dreamed that but I know it's a classic that I've had over and over again.

Water : Cleansing. Life. Emotions. Ask yourself about your current feelings.

Drowning : Going under emotionally. Losing all what you have. Big ruin ahead.

Boat : Movement across the depths of feelings. Will attain aim in life.

RESCUE : Rescuing someone else, or seeing others rescued signifies that you will end up the winner in a troubling situation. But if you dream of being rescued, be careful; this indicates that you will be accident-prone for a time.

Does any of that make sense?

I have always had that dream for a while, but its not every night, just as well!

I don't think I like my drowning dream....
However, I have not had it in a little while.

Thanks for the info. It makes lots of sense because I have gone through most of those emotions.

As for being accident prone......story of my life. I bang into walls at home that have been there from the day I moved in
I always joke about it and say something like "Dear...have you been renovating again??? This wall was NOT here a while ago" He shakes his head and walks away.

Hey, me too. I like to say it's because I have no personal space, and I don't know where I stop and the rest of the world begins. My friends get a big kick out of it. I regulary walk into the corners of walls when I turn a corner, or hit my hip on our benches. I'm always finding new bruises.

I'm the same way! Especially at night! If I get up and go to the kitchen I seem to bump into things that have been "moved" in the middle of the night for no apparent reason!
