Ehem. UK definately is an EU member, they just didn't adopt euro like most of us did.

I'd keep one or two souvenirs and convert the rest. If you are not going to UK anytime soon, why not convert it and treat yourself to something special?

Well Bruce, if you don't want to spend it, I am sure we could all spend it for you

Either take a trip and spend it there or convert it to US $ and spend it or put it in the bank to earn some interest

With the weak value of the dollar those 900 pounds are quite a find!! Think of all the computers gaiming stuff you can buy!!

I am from England but currently live in Yorktown V
The UK has recently (with in the last 7 years) changed the style of the five pound notes, the 10 pound notes and the 20 pound notes you can no longer spend them in shops but you can go to a bank and change them for up to date notes and then you can exchange or spend them, I am not sure whether a bank in the states will change outdated notes.

When I worked for the bank we still accepted the old one pound notes and they went out of circulation years ago!
