I was so mean to Ferris!

Last night when I got home from work I had to go to the bathroom, and because my roomie was home, I needed to bring Max in with me so he wouldn't open the door while I was peeing.

Ferris decided that he thought he might want to hang out with Max in the bathroom with me. They both came in together, and that was fine - until I shut the door.

I went and sat down to do my thing, but Ferris went into a crouch by the door and started to yowl, and I mean YOWL, it sounded like he was hollering HELP MEEEEEEEEEE!

So of course I had to get up and let him right out - I didn't mean to scare him! And what is worse - he was SO scared, he peed a great big puddle on the floor just inside the bathroom door.

Poor Ferris thought that my shutting him into the bathroom meant that I was going to catch him and put him in his carrier to go to the vet! Poor Ferris!!!!

I felt SO bad - I am such a terrible Meowmy, literally scaring the pee right out of my poor boy!

You mean, mean kitty mom!

Poor Ferris is traumatised, send him to me!

Yes, Ferris needs a vacation. Our bathroom door doesn't shut anymore. He'd love it here. (You big meanie. )

I gave him so many treats that he wasn't able to eat more than a couple of bites of his dinner.

Guilt-spoiling.

And NO, Ferris is NOT going on a vacation.

You let him hang in the bathrom with you??!! Yep, I can see why you feel so terrible

Sorry the poor little boy freaked out, but you know he forgives you, and he hopefully learnt that the bathroom doesn't necessarily mean the vets

LOL, Mummy doesn't yowl and then pee on the floor!

You mean you actually closed the door behind you? I tried that with Tigger once and he actually climbed the wall.
