ok I would like opinions. we just got a leather couch and are so afraid our 4 cats are going to scratch them up. we have all types of scratching posts, climbing things etc. the only ones I have found that they like are the cardboard ones but yet they STILL scratch the furniture even putting them right near them etc.....
so was are thinking of getting soft paws (which I am scared I will do it wrong or trim their nails too short, as I have never trimmed their nails since we have a cement basement floor that they are always walking on so it files them some. LOL) or maybe a type of spray that really works to keep them away and only use the scratching things.
