And my next question......

Darlene, where the hell have you been??????
I have been confined to my apt. for over 2 months. I am having a bout with shingles. I am getting better, but it is very painful and even lying in the Wonder Bed is no fun. I can't sit very long as the shingles eruptions are on my back of thighs and butt. The pressure of sitting aggrivates them.

I still come to TCS and read threads to keep up. I miss you all.

Hugs and Purrs,

What is shingles?
Shingles is like chicken pocks for adults - can get very severe.

Shingles is caused by the varicella-zoster virus, the same virus that causes chickenpox. After an attack of chickenpox, the virus lies dormant in the nerve tissue. As we get older, it is possible for the virus to reappear in the form of shingles. Shingles is estimated to affect 2 in every 10 persons in their lifetime. This year, more than 500,000 people will develop shingles. Fortunately, there is currently research being done to find a vaccine to prevent the disease.
What is shingles?
Shingles is an outbreak of a rash or blisters on the skin that may be associated with severe pain. The pain is generally on one side of the body or face.

Who is at risk for developing shingles?

Although it is most common in people over age 50, anyone who has had chickenpox is at risk for developing shingles. Shingles is also more common in people with weakened immune systems from HIV infection, chemotherapy or radiation treatment, transplant operations and stress.

Do you have allergies?

Do you have exceme?

That is just a joke Since I dont have the taste for plain coffee (unless I have a fortune teller nearby, then I can try to swallow some...) it´s just a saying if I decline the offer for coffee "coffee is just for grown ups, I guess I´m not old enough!" But chocolate covered coffee beans - yes please!

I like a good comedy, a romance, a drama, and a suspence thriller...
I cant really decite now which I would like the most.

Winter (too busy outside in the summer to watch it).

What is your favorite sport?
Haven´t seen this thread active for such a long time...

I get tired just to think about sports...
At the moment I do nothing myself, but have done some skating, skiing, well did quite some hiking this summer (is that spost?)

I like to watch some of the things when the Olympics are one, like fugure skating, indoor gym and such.

Do you have your natural colour hair, or do you change it "your way"?
