Hello again! I've had a 4 month old American Shorthair, Ginger, for 2 months. I also, just recently, got a 3 month old Ragdoll, Narcissa.

It seems (seems being the key word) that Ginger is playing too rough... or I dont know what. Whatever it is, Narcissa is just not up for it. Narcissa is hissing and just very vocal whenever they start to tussle.

Are they actually fighting or is this playing?

Should I be worried about leaving them alone together while I'm at work?

They are cute
Its just normal kitten play. SH's are generally more active cats then longhairs, so that may be part of it.

Are they both spayed yet?

3 and 4 month old kittens still haven't learned the boundaries of play. They'll more than likely sort it out for themselves. When mine get too rough I just talk to them and settle them down some.

I also have a ragdoll and 2 DSH, I would introduce them slowly and properly, I
never left mine alone together until I was absolutely sure they were just playing, they are both young so will most likely adapt to each other, I would also be getting them speyed/neutered. Good luck im sure they will be fine.
