Two drop-dead gorgeous ferals came in this morning to feed! 22 degrees must of knocked the shyness out of them. One is a beautiful red tabby with a white face and white tail. The other is a marbled tabby with rich streaks of dark grey patterned in black and light grey and a white chest- I have never seen such striking cats! The look to be about the same age making me wonder if they are from the same litter. They stayed far enough away until I turned around to leave, then piled around the feeder and chowed down. God I hope they are females and not pregnant! I am so weary of un-neutered males showing up and fighting for the right to be here.

We have a new one too! He showed up a couple of days ago and this morning came right to my husband and sniffed his hand! This little guy (the cat
) looks like he is less than a year old. He is a short haired gray tabbie with a white chest and feet. The other ferals were a little wary of him, but there have been no squabbles yet. He is so sweet that he may belong to someone in the neighborhood, but his fur was a little dingy and he didn't look neutered, so perhaps he was dumped. As sweet and cute as he is, I think we will have no problem finding him a home.

Wow! Must be a new cat season I never knew existed.... As you know from my other post, the mom we were unable to trap and get spayed showed up the other day. And I don't know if I posted here or in a PM to someone, but we also had a new black cat turn up - with a really round funny looking face.

We had another three cats show up. All of the new ones look to be the same age and they all seem to know each other, so we are thinking they must be from the same litter. I hope the weather gets better soon so I can start trapping all these new cats!

Does it ever end?????

Nope!
We got a new one, too (in addition to the new funny-faced black one). Our new one has a really bushy tail that looks like a raccoon tail. It's a brown and white tabby looking thing - but we couldn't see much except the disappearing rear-end.
