Flea Treatment

What's the best flea treatment on the market?

i personally use Frontline - and if you use a charity link (like the one on our website), either 3 or 5% goes to the selected charity. The only other one I have seen in vets is Advantage.

Frontline and Advantage are the best, IMO. I have used Frontline for years, but it doesn't seem to be as effective anymore, so will switch to Advantage for next year. From what I've read comparing the two, Advantage starts working sooner, but Frontline lasts longer.

Depends on your needs.

Frontline Plus is good
Revolution also treats for earmites, deworms, & is a heartworm preventative.
Advantage is supposedly good.

I peronsally use Revolution, I can get it for $4 per cat(with 15 cats cost is important!)....and for the farm kitties it keeps the earmites away, & the heartworm preventative, IMO, is important for them in particular.

I also use Revolution for Bijou. Mika uses Advantage as she had a reaction to the Revolution.

Diatomaceous Earth for the house is a great idea (food grade of course Momofmany). You are right on!

I use Advantage monthly. It actually costs a little less if you get a 4-6 month supply. I haven't seen any fleas on him since we started using it 7 months ago, and he is a white kitty, so they're easy to spot.

I use De flea on Zoey ... it is a OTC natural that is EPA registerd thou carrys NO warnings... It works //// the dog do to illness gets frontline top spot

Stronghold is the same thing. It just has a different name in Europe and the UK.
