New kitten!

I got home about an hour ago with a 4-month-old female tabby! She doesn't have a name yet but I'll come up with a good one for her. She is almost a twin to Junior except her vertical stripes are more solid than his. Also, Junior's chest and belly are more brown than hers. I'll try to get pictures up tonight or tomorrow.

I have Junior locked in one half of the apartment and her in the other right now. I held her and carried her to where they could see each other. Junior very cautiously inched his way towards us. When he got about 2 feet away, she started growling and trying to get out of my arms so I took her back to her half. Junior never made a sound that I could hear. Hopefully this bodes well since there wasn't any hissing between them.

PS - I've been wanting to change Junior's name ever since I got him and this seems like a good time to do so. I want to use some famous duo's names for them such as Bonnie and Clyde or Gomez and Patricia (from the Addam's Family). What other famous duos can you think of?

Gomez and Morticia would be fun. Trust me, no one named Bonnie thinks Bonnie and Clyde are cool How about The Professor/ MaryAnne or Lucy/Desi or Katherine (or Kate)/Spencer or Herman/Lily (Munster). That's all I can think of

I'm considering Elliot and Olivia as well. But I still like Bonnie and Clyde.

Adorable!!!! In a couple of those pics she looks -identical- to my Kaylee.

Also, lots of good ideas on the names...I really do like Bonnie and Clyde...also Mulder and Scully just because I love the X-Files. Maybe Han & Leia, Ron & Hermione, or Arwen and Aragorn.......okay, nerd-mode OFF. Congratulations on the new baby!!!

OH! Arwen and Aragorn!!! They are now the top candidates

I think I've settled on Wulfgar and Cattie-Brie for their names. They are characters from the Forgotten Realms novels. I will wait until after her vet checkup before settling on a final name.

Those are great names!

Well, after a lot of thought I've decided to leave Junior's name alone. The closest feminine equivalent to 'junior' I could come with was 'miss' (as in the mother is Mrs. Smith and the daughter Miss Smith) so I've named the kitten Missy.
