I mentioned in another post that John went with his cousin to pick up a storage trailer that we bought earlier in the week. John left at 9 AM and got back here a little before 12:30 with the trailer. He still had to go back and pick up our Tracker at his cousin's house 20 minutes away and then come back here so we can go do the things we planned on doing today. They just spent TWO HOURS standing around here talking instead of going back to get the Tracker! And men say that women talk too much!

My s/o could outdo ANY woman, ANY day, in the blabbering department! I've never seen ANY man yak as much as HE does!
If I send him to the store for a gallon of milk or loaf of bread, it'll take him at least an hour to come back home w/ it - and the store is only 5 minutes away - b/c he'll run into someone he knows and blab, blab, blab!


But in a way it's kinda nice, b/c it gives ME a chance to get some peace & quiet!

My SO can out talk any girl any day of the week. Even my mom pulled me aside one day and was like "He talks so much. I don't like it." lol And once he starts he'll never shut up.

This article basically says that women talking more than men is an urban legend. I know my DH says a lot more than I do.

We can talk alright girls. Yes it might surprise you to know that, but then you dont give us a chance at home to get a word in.
So when we are let out on our own we have a lot of catching up to do. Im not going on too much for all you ladies am I?

In my situation, it's reversed!
And when I DO finally get a chance to talk, it all comes out in one gigantic flood! Because I know if I don't say what I have to just then, it'll be another week before I DO!


Don't get me wrong: I am glad that I have someone who IS willing to talk things over - as opposed to someone who's NOT
But sometimes, you just want a little peace & quiet..
