The World's Longest Cat is Leo, a Maine Coon. He is 50 inches long from the tip of his nose to the tip of his tail. He weighs a whopping 40 pounds! He is a HUGE cat!

Leo and his vet. For reference, his vet is 6 feet 2 inches tall!

OMG...although he's a Maine Coon. He is obese!! THe silly vet tech or vet holding him shouldn't be smiling...he should be getting him on a weight reducing diet

Whether you're holding a fat cat or not, you still smile for a camera! I'm sure he told her all that "naughty naughty" stuff about getting him on a diet. And it looks like he gets lots of exercise.

Very Beautiful kitty BTW.

He's so cute in that first picture! I like the one of him on the leash, too.

I'm not altogether sure that's a smile. I think the guy is grunting. He sure was a gorgeous kitten. It's too bad he's so overweight now.

I don't think Leo is overweight! It's all that fur! I found the pictures at Verismo Maine Coons , a cattery that produces HUGE Maine Coons. Go check it out!

When I saw the picture of the Vet holding Leo, the first thought that popped into my mind was he looks like Lion on the Wizard of Oz! He's just got that look about him...and it cracked me up!
Beautiful kitty though!!

When I saw this topic I immediately thought of my cat, and this particular pic. I mean, she's not even a year old in this pic, and her paws reach the kitchen counter! And now, at 2 yrs old, she weighs 14.5 lbs. Of course, she's a Maine Coon.

If you look at him being held by the vet, you can see how large his tummy is. Maine Coons are very large cats, but they aren't large because of fat. If you look at her entire website, you can see that all of her Maine Coons are very big, but they are in condition.

Eeva. That is one long puddy tat! Shell, he reminds me of the lion in the Wizard of Oz too.

Wow! Your girl is huge! She is so long. Beautiful markings too!

My cat Rascal reaches the kitchen counter and he's only 9 months old. He is over 3 feet long and weighs 10 pounds! He is a DLH, even though I think he's crossed with a Norwegian Forest Cat!

My other cat Peppurr is 3 feet long and can reach the counter top. He is a DSH and he's a 15 pounder!

Rascal is 18 inches tall, and Peppurr is 17 inches tall (from their paw to the tip of their ear).
