By then I'll probably want short hair, too.

Alright, but some of them aren't...fit...for public forums. Here goes, though, complete with captions (I wrote it down so I had to follow it):

1. Stop being so sarcastic! Some is fine, but being overly so is not good.
2. Stop chewing nails...for real this time.
3. Find new hair care products.
4-5. Combined in above.
6. (deleted)
7 (also deleted
)
8. New toothpaste with extra whitener
9. Whitestrips
10. More shirts (cute ones I wouldn't have goten previously)...
11. ...more pants (cute ones I wouldn't have gotten previously)...
12. One word: leggings! Wait, this could fall under pants, but whatever.
13. Headbands
14. Bracelets and necklaces, preferable colorful or black and/or white.
15. Actually wear the bracelets and necklaces
16. Be more ougoing.

Okay, that was sixteen.
Bet you couldn't guess what all of this is for, could you?
To lure in a member of the opposite sex?
i'm assuming some of those were to do with hair removal!

You're definitely perceptive!
And right on both counts. I'm ashamed of the fact that all of this is just used as a hook, line, and sinker, but ast least it's giving me a reason to improve my appearance, which I should have done a while ago.

Okay, so I won't be wearing them completely in public. Just...under jeans.
However, I bet I will like them enough to wear them around in a year or so, so I might as well start getting used to them.

I had my hair cut back in 1999. It was down to my butt curly. The lady was supposed to take two inches, she cut 6 off which is like 12in on curly hair. I stopped going to the salon cause I just couldn't trust anyone. Anywho my hair hasn't grown past my shoulders since. I got a cut and dye job 4 weeks ago. He took a HUGE amount off and also had to cute the top layers much shorter. It has grown SO much since then. I think I finally found someone who knew what they were doing.

So maybe you should try for a cut again.

I'm afraid to! :para: It'd be lovely if it did work, but I wouldn't want to take the risk of it not working. How much has it grown since you had it cut (if it were straight)?

Other than the top layer it's back to before the last cut. So the 4-5 inches he took off is back....or the hair is healthier and more relaxed.

I was like you. Look how long it took me. LoL I was trimming my hair at home every 3 months or so. Just tiny bit here and there.

The women in my family have the same hair as you do, baby fine (not thin, darnit
) and slow-growing. A slight trim every few months improves the bounce factor and makes hair look healthier. There is a shine product that helps give dimension but I cannot remember the name of it for the life of me. Will post if it pops up in my brain.

Remember, you are already beautiful
Anything more you do is simply accessorizing! It is fun to broaden your horizons and try new things. I always liked bracelets. Necklaces bug me for some reason. With bracelets you can just have fun, like with the headbands.

I like the first three for dressier occasions. Something in blue would be great for everyday with jeans. Maybe match the headband to your eyes? Just try some on until you find the ones that feel/look right. Have fun!

Oh boy, I'm a ding bat.
I though the OP was taking a poll on what number we liked. I had no idea there were pics of headbands to look at. I chose number four because I thought it was a good number. Then I figured out the purpose of this poll.

It was hard for me to choose. I just can't pull off the head band look.

I couldn't choose between 5 and 6 because they are both a bit wild and fun! I voted for 5 smilply because you can wear it with more colors.

I chose number 3; I love polka dots. Hairbands generally don't suit me though.

Hmmm, I thought this was some kind of joke and the numbers themselves were the poll. Only after I voted did I realize the numbers actually referenced the items in the following post.
