You guys, what can I do? Weâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]ve called all of the shelters where I live, the sheriff, the Humane Society isnâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t open (it opens at noon, weâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]ll call there when it does), and a lady we were referred to that only does dogs. None of them will take him. Heâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s not feral, just scared. I really, really wish we could keep him, but we canâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t. We havenâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t got the time or place to socialize a stray cat.
The lady we talked to last said stick it in said we should just drop it off. Help, I donâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t want to do this! Not only is it frightening for the cat, itâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s also not fair for the shelter. What do I do? Journey needs to go somewhere besides here, because Iâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]m absolutely not going to ‘destroy him myselfâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji] (the ladyâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s words, not mine), and I'm absolutely not going to drop him off in the middle of nowhere. I'm a cat lover, not an abandoner.
We can't keep him any longer, he's got to go today. Please - any advice?
