We currently have 13 living with us, one is indoor/outdoor though and one technically belongs to John's dad but lives with us and we take care of her. Here's the list, LOL.

Leo - 18 months old - Red tabby shorthaired male - rescued at 5 weeks old as a feral kitten. He is the indoor/outdoor cat.

Tabitha - 16 months old - Red & white tabby shorthaired female - rescued at 9 weeks old, found on the side of the road with her mom and sister.

Spooky Bear - 14 months old - Black w/ some white shorthaired male - rescued at 4-5 weeks, we found him abandoned in our barn.

Spike - 9 months old - Brown & white tabby shorthaired male - was a "free to good home" kitten, was at least half brother to one we lost so we couldn't say no.

Garfield - 7 months old - Red tabby shorthaired male - rescued at 4 days old after his mother was killed.

Captain Squishy - 7 months old - Cream tabby shorthaired male - Garfield's brother.

Lieutenant Bear - will be 7 months old on the 9th - Black shorthaired female - She was born here, we rescued her pregnant mother.

Roxy - 6 months old - Blue and white longhaired female - found at 8-10 weeks old abandoned in the woods with her siblings.

Sofia - 6 months old - Blue and white longhaired female - Roxy's sister.

Taco - 5 months old - Cream and white shorthaired male - He was born here, we rescued his pregnant mother.

Woody Jr. - 5 months old - Red and white longhaired male - Taco's brother.

Grabat - 6 ish years old - Blue shorthaired female - John's dad's cat.

PLUS, we have four dogs:

Thunder - 5 years old - German Shepherd male - rescued from a dumpster when he was a newborn.

Sammy - 3 years old - Jack Russell/Cavalier King Charles Spaniel mix male - was born at my house, I rescued his mother when she was in labor.

Scooter - 11 months old - Beagle/Sheltie/Coonhound? mix male - was "free to good home", was being kept outdoors with no shelter in mid-January and he was only 6 weeks old.

Marley - 2 years old - Jack Russell Terrier male - his owner had too many dogs, we are his third or fourth home.

And we have a horse...

Levi - 7 years old - Appaloosa cross gelding - was being severely neglected by his previous owner. Was also "free to good home".

Wow!! Thank goodness! I don't feel so bad! To the poster above with the loooong list of babies, how many catsd? How do you manage to keep things clean?? I'd be crazy girl. What kind of home are you in? We live in an apt, but were all cosy. To mew, its better to have a comfy place for my babies but not too huge, cxleaning gets overwhelming. We're also lucky to have a condo manager whos letting us live here pet deposit free because one of their maintenance men murdered our Tyler (7 mos, one of Moe & Daisy's sibs). Otherwise the deposit would be outrageous! $1600.00

I don't work at the moment, so I have all day to clean. I am slightly OCD about cleaning, and I can't stand a mess. But I'm able to get things done. We currently live in the basement of John's parents and grandparents home. It's not a large space, but it's enough for us, everyone has enough exercise and space to play and they're all happy. I'm actually grateful for the smaller space because it's less area to clean!

On the farm
Rob & I have two 17 week old grey tabby kittens, Katina & Monte that we adopted from the SPCA in September.

In North Carolina at my parent's house, I "left behind" (they were really "family cats", not just mine), Chassis, 4; Caliper, 3; and Tailpipe, 1.

I don't doubt that Rob & I will end up with 3 or 4 someday at our home though.

We currently have 6.

Twig is a 25 pound gray tabby we got from Dh's cousins farm.

Rocket is a 13 pound Abyssinian we got from a cat show after Twigs friend Zen passed.

Isis is a 13 pound Tortieshell she and Luna were ferals I fed at our old house along with a gray tabby tom cat who just stopped showing up one day.

Luna is a 10 pound dark gray see Isis' story.

Neffie is a 10 pound all black we got her from friends, she was in the basement, scared of people, and hated anything that moved.

and Cali is an 8 pound calico that inherited us not to long ago when my co workers started feeding her because she moved in behind our dumpster at work.

Well, in our in-town house are:
Joey & JC - Joey is my "Sphinx" as in he sleeps at my feet at night and guards my dreams in true Egyptian fashion; he is also in tune with my grandson who currently lives over 300 mi. away - when Joey mournfully goes about the house meowing for John, then I know that John is either sick; having problems with bullies or being in bad family situation (his father has custody); JC is the typical Maine Coon family cat;
Jackie - an abused Manx cat who basically lived in a closet for years, she came with the house;
Christy - my disabled daughter's companion cat; Christy's mother was poisoned when poor C was less than 1 week old; my daughter fought off her equine ecephalitis in order to raise that kitten; IMO, the kitten saved my daughter's life as well as vice-versa;
At our country home (dilapidated, but still my part-time residence)
Cinders - rescued 6 years ago as a kitten abandoned at a rest area;
Scotty - the former feral who chooses to live inside with us instead;
Andrea - the kitten who wouldn't be road-kill; and the fosters:
Toby & Bob, about 13-14 weeks old now, 3rd generation ferals;
Joannie Cat & Mini-J, 10 wk. old sisters, daughters of a stray;
Dax - about 5mos. now, happy to be vaccinated, neutered, the object removed from his infected eye, and part of the clowder;
Casey and Stanley - half-brothers to Toby & Bob, also 3rd generation ferals.

I have 4 cats and two dogs (and fish).

Cats:

Jasmine - torti-point Colorpoint Shorthair (she's 5ish)
Isabella- odd-eyed white Turkish Angora (she's 3 this year)

Kojak- black/white domestic short hair (he's 1 yr)

Dogs:

Fosters - Australian Shepherd (he's around 4yrs old)

(i don't have exact birthdays/ages on all the furbabies as they are all adopted- so some of the ages are just my best guess based on teeth/overall appearance.
