Goldies NEED lots of FILTRATION and GALLONS per size/...
they need double filtration of tropical ... ie 100 gal per hour vs 50-75 in a 10 gallon tank \\\\ they also need 10 gallons per inch of goldie

That is nice to know sharky, but it was a joke
Btw I have fifteen healthy Goldfish living in my pond which holds aprox 500 gallons of water. It is a natural pond, therfore it has no pumps no filters, it is a continual eco system in itself. Pumps and filters are a must for indoor tanks and ponds where specialist species are kept like koi carp. That reminds me there is a shop not far from us that has a 4ft long japanese Koi on show, when it comes to the surface the guy in the shop can put his fist and half of is arm into the fishes mouth when he opens it. Imagine the chips you would have to serve up with that.
