Beauty is definitely getting a new bed with a heating pad in it: Crinkle Sack

If the others take it over I may buy more

Otherwise I'm really entertaining the idea of a small aquarium (aka Ki-T-TV). I saw one at Petsmart for $15.

ditto...even the less expensive ones are tons of work and you usually wind up paying much more money in other areas for the tank/fish/upkeep! They are beautiful though- fish are such lovely animals. Keeping a tank can be a wonderful hobby, so long as you research first and know what you're getting into! Some tanks need to be set up and allowed to run for a while before fish are added. If you do a fresh water tank- i may be able to offer a little help if you'd like!
They are wonderful! One more thing to keep in mind- the smaller tanks can get a little stuffy- the more space the fish have, the better they thrive!

www.aquaria.info is a wonderful website with lots of great tips/experts to help on all things fishy! If you are interested in an aquarium, please do your research before purchasing one! (those people are very helpful- it's like TCS, but for fish! They helped me out with some wonderful advice on my own tanks) I've learned a lot from that website!

Oh yes. And the smaller the tank, the dirtier it gets and quickly. We are going to be moving our fish back over here from my in-laws' house (they were moved there before we got the apartment) and we are thinking about upgrading to a 20 gallon. I think the tank would stay cleaner, and I could add a couple more Tetras. The 10-gallon gets pretty filthy and I don't overfeed.

ETA: my cats favorite fish to watch are the 2 cory cats we have.

And of course they are getting more wand toys and treats and who knows what else, because after all, I'm a really mean meowmy and they are bored rotten with the hundreds of toys they currently have to choose from.

So far I have gotten a couple of new toys for Linus and a New Furry Blanket for Sassy.
I still have to get a new basket for Pixie, she is sharing with Linus right now.
I am also getting them a bigger scratching post and another double kitty condo.

And of coarse tons of treats.

To all the people warning me about the aquarium -

Thank you...I know the upkeep they require as I use to have one in college (dorms...nothing furry allowed, just something underwater). I am happy to report that I was able to keep 3 fantail goldfish alive for 3 or 4 years

The only time I had a bad experience is with the plastic aquarium kit I bought on clearance. The roof was missing and basically my fish turned kamikaze.

My mom considers our cats her Grandcats, which is so cute!

From her they are getting 4 kitty stockings full of toys in each color!

From us, we are buying them new sparkly bouncy balls, foam balls, sparkly fuzzy balls, catnip & catnip mice. Its going to be an awesome kitty christmas full of fun!

This is Shilo & Sadees first christmas, can't wait till they see what they get!

So far, we've bought a couple packages of Catnip and two big packages of toy mice. We also bought them a cat scratcher/house thing but gave it to them early... so it was more of a Thanksgiving present.

And we bought several toys for the dogs so far.

I decided last night to get Georgi a fluffy black blanket because we have black cushions which she loves to knead and sit on,i think it might be because she got taken from her black mummy a bit too early however sometimes they arent fluffy side up, or in weird positions so she has to sit in a funny way to knead at it, so thats what she will be getting - providing I can find her one.

And Tigster will be gettting... nothing...well unless I can decide on what to get him haha no Ill probably get him a soft toy, because Georgi has some that she claimed before we got Tigger,

Then some treats and toys for the both of em and
and hopefully if I have enough $$$ I can get them a scratch pole, or maybe if
they are super duper lucky a play gym, tho we dont really have any room for one.
