Lily is such a wailer

She's so cute. She doesn't meow, she wails. She was just sitting on the bed watching me and letting me know it's past her bedtime. She keeps her mouth closed and just makes a little "wowww" sound at me repeatedly (and closes her eyes as she does the sound.

Then as she walks toward me, the little wails get louder, and she'll put her head down for me to pat her head.

She's been more vocal since we got "Da Bird" - I guess that means she's happy

I have a video on an ABC tv show called 'The Animal Attraction'. It tells the history of all the animals man domesticated. In it, it mentions that cats have 60 vocalisations. So when I got Blossom I was going to encourage some of these vocalisations. But, Blossom is meowless. She hardly makes any sounds at all. Even when she sees birds out the window & gets very excited seeing them she only makes ackk sounds. Your lucky your cat tells you what she wants.
