Kenz, it didn't get that bad for you?

That's what my car looked like, but only on the driver's side, windshield, & rear window. Passenger's side was clear.

There's no place like home
We were supposed to get that ice on Friday night but it stayed north of us. Sorry that you had to get it! Ice storms are the worst - give me a good snow storm over ice anyday!

Stay safe!!

I just asked John, and I guess it was

My car is in the shop until Monday so I haven't been out to see! From my 2nd floor apartment I can't see much apparently

Our car looked like that this morning too. After about 10-15 minutes of scraping, all that was cleaned off was about half of the windshield. I was 10 minutes late for work today (which doesn't sound bad, but when you only have 15 minutes to get the store ready to open and are 10 minutes late its bad).

That's what I thought!!!!! I looked at my car and said....great.....just great

Last year I chizzled a little too much and I left scratches on my car, this time I used a bit of hot water with it. The thing I didn't get pictures of is how the ice/snow came up so high around my tires the rims were under ice. OH MY GOSH! My car would NOT BUDGE!!!! I almost cried because I need to go school early in the morning. I ended up taking 6 buckets of hot salt water out and dumping it all around my tires. It worked, but only after an hour. Then I went to the store and they are all OUT of salt
of course

ohhh my goodness! you poor thing! I would have seriously freaked out if my car was covered like that
(last winter we had to pour water over the windshields on a daily basis when it iced over!) I HATE driving in the ice, it makes me soo nervous!!!

Be safe!

No kidding!

I was so lucky this morning and found out school was delayed! Of course they never call it off until your just about to class. But it was a bit of a treat not to have my first class!

My university was notorious for not canceling or delaying opening until after students started arriving for morning classes at 8am!

Oh, and not cleaning or salting walkways until after students arrived!

It did get pretty bad where we are too. We had snow-- several inches, then sleet, then freezing rain.
We didn't go anywhere after 11am, just watched from the comfort of the apartment. The roads were already bad at 10am. Our car was under the carport for the day, thank goodness.
