Since it has gotten colder the fleece throws have come out of storage. I have one on my bed and Aristotle and Topaz are battling over who has exclusive occupancy of it.

There's a fleece remnant on the other end of the bed, but the throw is preferred.

We have fleece like throw on the love seat. It's Ben's favorite spot. He gets so angry when anyone else is on it. Last night Molly was sleeping there and he threw a fit. Climbing the bookcase, playing behind the tv, knocking things to the floor... etc LoL

I just checked and Topaz has the throw and Aristotle has claimed the fleece remnant (which I have used as a scarf). The other day she glared at him to make him move.

Bijou say he thinks Topaz should have the throw. Ari runs madly around and probably keeps warm doing that.

I have the same problem around my house. I have a smaller throw that the cats have completely claimed as their own. Trinity will even drag it from room to room with her. Bentley and Trinity both love the fleece type throws and will go crazy kneading them. Trinity even gets into a sort of trance like state and drools!

I just looked over and they are both on my bed asleep. I wonder if I can sneak over and get a pic.

It is, that's why I just gave in and got myself a Queen sized one. I figured she couldn't drag one that big around! I was right but now they all just steal it from me anyway. I leave it across the couch, but when I go in there, normally atleast one of them has it all bunched up into a bed and is happily snoozing away. It is the cutest when I find all of them curled up together though. Why is it that we find it so hard to disturb sleeping kitties? I always end up having to find myself a different blanket.

We have a fleece throw on the bed. We also have a large ladybug that is soft and plushy. I have a goose down throw for my side of the bed. A heat blanket (designed to not cook the person using it. Safety feature.) that heats my legs. If my legs get cold they cramp and my DW has gotten tired of my waking up screaming from the cramps.

The end result is that my masters have several options.

1. use the fleece
2. use Annie the ladybug (a very big ladybug)
3. use my down comforter
4. use the section that has the heater when it's turned on.
5. use any slave laying on the bed/sleeping/watching TV.

I was home this weekend (sinus / cold) and my masters loved it. I'm watching TV. Heating pad on. down blanket covers legs.

Tigger/Shadow Ram/Charlie all had to make a choice. Shadow Ram and Charlie used the down blanket. Heat seeping up and down keeping body heat in. Much working was accomplished.

Charlie likes to use Annie. Big soft pillow that keeps him warm. Kneading with paws.... he'll have drool and nose drool coming out quickly after he starts. Then he'll go to work... eyes glaze over..... snorin.... err.... uh.... work sounds come. What a work ethic they have.

I managed to get a pic, even though I woke them up as I walked over.
You can see that even thought there is room for Aristotle on the burgundy fleece throw, he is by my pillows. The other day he got to the throw first and Topaz plopped down right beside him. She believes in intimidation techniques.

Ari did that yesterday. Could have had a cute pic of him and mom playing.

I had to laugh when I saw this thread, Jan. We have a rule in our house: All fleece throws belong to Jamie, and humans are only allowed to use them with his permission. He actually complains to me when my husband dares to use one, although we have about 7 or 8 of them since I keep buying them in the hopes that R. can have one.

DH is allowed to use a wool throw on the couch, but only if he shares it with Jamie.

THere are two fleece throws they haven't claimed, yet. One is under my blanket for warmth as I sleep, and the other is on the back ofthe computer chair to help warm my back.

I'd show the one under the comforter, but my SS is getting one like it.
