My cat is a Sphynx adult. Talks all the time. She is a noisy cat in general, she announces her presence when she walks into rooms, to go on your lap, at feeding time (sounds frantic when she actually sees the food!), and basically just because. If you talk to her, she will talk back. If you call her, she will talk while coming to you. She purrs loud too.
Do your cats talk? If so, what breed are they? Do you like the talking?

My four all talk. Ferris trills continually and cries like a pathetic little kitten. This morning he sounded just like a whiney puppy.

Ginger talks to me, but very quietly and usually for my ears only. She screams like a banshee at the other cats if they come too close to her, accompanied by several fast whacks.

They are both moggies.

The Bengals, Max and Penny, both talk to themselves quite a lot, but Max is the real talker. He likes to make announcements (pronouncements?) and he sings in front of the mirror in the bathroom. He will sometimes call out over and over until I answer him, as if he wants to check where I am. Then he quiets down.

Penny likes to talk to the birds and the squirrels outside, and she has asked me to rub her belly once this week: she called out, caught my attention, then she rolled over and showed me her belly.
She's starting to forgive me for adopting Max.

Thanks. Just wanted to say Max is gorgeous. He looks so masculine, wild and domestic at the same time, what a nice Bengal!

My girls talk, esp. Mia. She grunts, chirps, meows. It's funny bc sometimes she'll be in the other room and we hear a grunt/trill and my mom will say "what was THAT" and i say "mia.." I love how vocal she is, we've had a few conversations before too. "hi mia" "mrow" "whats you doing" "mrow" "oh really" "mrow" etc. marble talks too but maybe only 1/3 of what mia does. I don't know what breed they are since I got them from an animal shelter but they look and act like they have some siamese or oriental shorthair in them.

Fable only really talks when he's calling Jupey to come play and when he's 'hunting' birds through the window. Jupey talks a lot especially when he's about to do something he shouldn't, he makes lots of weird noises.

4 of mine talk all the time. I think the best one was when Figget was about what we could call a "teenager" and I told her get off the kitchen chair... all I heard on the was down was "meow, meow, meow-translated, don't know why I have to get down" like a kid back-talking their mom.

I looked at my husband and him if I just been back-talked by my teenager

Daisy lets us know when she comes in, and Satin tells my husband all about the day, just after the lights go out and we setting in to bed for sleep. Dang annoying at times
Squirrel talks to us in the morning. Dakota is our silence baby unless something is really wrong. He stop talking and being able to hear him purr after his big seizure.

My 3 are Ocicats, they talk quite a bit and very loudly especially when I just get home or when I'm getting their food ready.
They meow back when I talk to them or call them to me.

i love talking cats! my damian talks all the time, especially to yell at me about something like wanting in or out of if i'm not petting him right. he will talk to me when i call him to almost say ok alright i'm coming!
max just makes these random chirping noises whenever happy.
millie talks a lot also. she talks to the tv, the curtains, anything that confuses her. she also meows when she is suddening in a room by herself and needs to find someone to be around so she meows, so we will call her and a-running she will come.
sophie doesn't make that much noise, it's more shocking to hear her squeak.

Oh boy, they never shut up
. Molly is even more vocal since the introduction of Caluga. I WISH I could understand what they were saying!
