male cats dominating female

Hello

Another forum member said something that kinda made sense

As long as ive known cats ive known so many male cats that would just jump on a female and make her scream and run away, it seems to be so common does everyone else agree?

I have a 4 year old cat and a 7 month old kitten. They box and play. Both seem ok with it. The kitten is with me as I type.
