Howdy!

I just got a new kitty (my first!) and boy am I glad I found this forum. He was all sweet an innocent at my parents' house (he's one of my mom's cat's latest litter... did that make sense?). When I got him home to St. Louis, though, wow... he's a hellion! I think I figured it out, though. He was bored. He had puppies to play with back in Texas. He's all alone here, especially while I'm at work. I got him a bunch of new toys today and he's loving it.

Anyway, on to the introductions! My name is Erik, and my kitty's name is Red. He's a black & white short-hair with tons of personality and sharp teeth. Yikes! He has a little scratch on his nose that he got in a scrape with another cat a few weeks ago. Adorable, no?

Hello Erik & welcome to tcs. I know what you mean, my Blossom, now nearly 15 mths old was like that as a baby. You'll find lots of info in the stickys to help with this problem. Red is gorgeous. Looks like butter wouldn't melt in his mouth. So, head off to the behaviour forum & happy posting. Look forward to hear how it all goes.
