The vet explained it but I've forgotten already.
I know it was nothing bad, but it never hurts to have a few other's thoughts.
A year ago Cow's BUN was 48. Now it's 23, so we're good there.
Today's bloodwork:
TP (total protien) was 10.8 (normal range 5.4-8.2)
GLOB was 7.9 (normal range 1.5-5.7)
WBC (white blood cells) was 25.65 (normal 5.5-19.5)
GRA was 22.58 (normal 2.5-14)
MO was 6.5 (normal 1-3)
GR was 88 (normal 35-80)
RBC was 10.60 (normal 5-10) Reb Blood Cells?
HGB was 17.4 (normal 8-15) Hemoglobin?
MCHC was 38.8 (normal 30-36)
PLT was 876 (normal 300-800) Platlets?
Now, he was dehydrated & got 100ccs of Sub-Q fluids.
What are the ones that I didn't put the "long version" of by?
The vet said dehydration could account for most of those values, but also his teeth are likely infected....or rather were infected.
