Took the kitties in for a spay this morning.

Got them both taken care of today. Took them in about 6:45 this morning and the vet called about 11:00 and said all is well. Went by to see them a little while ago and they are doing okay. Abby is pretty grumpy and is prefering to be left alone and Anna Bell seems to still be a little loopy. She was all over the cage trying to get her head and neck scratched. Abby did not find her behaviour amusing. I'm going to go pick them up tommorrow evening. There was another cat in the cage above them who really didn't seem to appreciate us being there :laughing: I guess I'm going to fix them up a dark place to sleep and keep them in separate rooms for a few days. Any hints/suggestions are welcome.

Just keep them in a small area, confined so they can rest. Feed them 1/3 of what they normally eat and watch the incision area for drainage or heat or other problems.

Wow, those guys really know how to smile for the camera!

I brought them home last night. They are doing fine, just kind of lying around. They wanted to lick their wounds so I had to get some of those collar things to put on them. They look silly and are acting like it's the end of the world. They seem to be happy to be home where there is plenty of food and water. I think I'm going to have seperate them soon though because they are starting to get back into play mode. I'm very thankful everything went well.

I am glad that everything went okay with your little furbabies. They are sooo cute and I love their smiles!
