Cow's got his dental right away Friday AM.

I'm super worried. He's not likely to do well.

Can Cow get some ?

Of course!!!
Lots of vibes headed his way!! What is he having done? Just a dental scaling? Those are nothing to worry over if that's the case!
Try to ease your mine a bit hon - i'm sure he'll be just fine!

I'm sending lots of good surgery vibes to Cow too. Is he the one who needs so many teeth removed?

Cow is the one who might end up with a full dental extraction. Twitch, his sister, has had no teeth for years, hers were all pulled. I should've had this done on Cow long ago, but his teeth were always marginally better.

His BUN is too high.
Vet said there's no way to save any teeth, either. We're looking at 6-8 weeks recovery, repeat bloodpanels, & trying to figure out how to "fix" his bloodwork. There's some other issues in addition to the BUN.

He's done! Already! Pulled all his teeth. Bloodwork....BUN was better than last time, but still ? I thought they had ran the blood panel before I left, but apparently that was the last panel.

They tried to tell me he'd never eat dry food again.
After Twitch being toothless, I beg to differ!

They just used gas, so he should wake up better & faster. But man, his mouth is raw. All they have for pain meds on hand is MetaCam, though, so I'm taking that.....better than nothing. And he's on anti-biotics for awhile.

Nervous over nothing. I'm glad it was nothing, though. Now Cow needs some pain go away . He's going to be hurting for awhile.

Poor Cow! Sending lots of vibes. Spunky had a bad experience when he had some teeth pulled. I will be sending lots of vibes that Cow doesn't go through what Spunky did.

We're home....minus all our teeth(Cow's, not mine).

His face is super bloody. He keeps sticking his tongue all over the place. And he's walking around with his mouth open. Poor boy's mouth hurts, but this is best for him.

BUN was within normal now. I don't have the bloodwork right here, but will ask questions on it in H&N later. For now he's home, with a week's worth of MetaCam & several weeks of Clavamox.
