Thanks for the link, I've bookmarked it! I've never had Chai so I'll have to try!!

The big 'fad' that hit Toronto in the last while is something called Bubble Tea. Now there seems to be Bubble Tea shops everywhere in Toronto.

Here's a link describing what Bubble Tea is:

I've been doing the sugar busters diet....
and Chai tea is a big NO NO!!!

The sugar contant is 18 grams + on most of the yummy teas!

I just looked on the back of my Chai Spice tea box and the ingredients are: Blended black teas, ginger, cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, clove and natural flavours of cinnamon, clove, cardamom.
So, I don't know how that all does for you all on a diet but I don't see any sugar in it. The only sugar is what you add to it. And it can definitely be made without milk or sugar, all depending on what you can palate.

The pic for this product is way above in one of my posts.

I love Chai!!!! I'm a huge tea/coffee drinker. I don't drink sodas or colas. Celestial Seasonings just came out with Mountain Chai. I have a cooler in our office that also has hot water. I drink tea all day. I like to put French Vanilla creamer in it.

I got hooked about 3 months ago, and now I have some of the powder at home. I know it's a big no no if you are on a diet, but I will be looking at it as my desert or a treat. I may have to try it with the splenda and non fat milk.

I have never even heard of this tea but it sounds delicious and now I really want to try it! Can you buy it in a grocery store?
