As I recently posted, Max normally comes into the bathroom with me in the mornings. This morning, though, he was lazy, and gave me a morning meow from atop the cat condo where he was relaxing.

I invited him to join me, but he yawned instead, so I shut the bathroom door and went about my business. I got into the shower, hoping he didn't start meowing outside the door and waking my roomie.

I showered and turned off the water, and immediately felt a very cool draft, which concerned me. I pushed aside the shower curtain to grab my towel, and there was Max, sitting on the edge of the sink, looking sweetly up at me. The bathroom door was WIDE OPEN.

The little stinker pushed the door open - I guess it hadn't latched all the way - and let himself in. Thank goodness my roomie was still in his room asleep! That could have been a bit awkward for me otherwise!

Now I have to see what I can do about making sure that the door latches properly.
Silly Max!

Awwww Max
He's talented! Maybe Nial taught him that before he sent him to you?

This is why I just leave my bathroom door open when I take a shower
If I don't, I have 2 crying boys at the door, acting like their missing out on something super exciting

That's funny....doors, latches, nothing will stop him!

When my DH goes to shower in the mornings he shuts the door, but leaves it where Zoe can push it open "if she needs her litterbox"....yeah right, it has become a morning routine for them that as soon as he's dressed and she hears him sit to put in his contacts, she pushes the door open, flops at his feet, looks up at him like "bring it on" and the play/wrestling session begins!

Yeah, but your roomie is your BF, and mine is NOT. I happen to like my privacy when I'm nekkie!

hiding in the bathtub
Riley usually sits on the edge of the tub, peering around the corner of the shower curtain and watches while I take my shower

Door doesn't get closed around here (I have the luxury of nudity in front of all my roommates---that would be DH and the felines
)...if it does, I see a couple of little fuzzy paws under it...

These are hilarious! I haven't shut the bathroom door in almost a year now. Luckily, no roommates, so the boys and I can do whatever we want. Every time I go in the bathroom Bingley has to join me. He is quickly followed by Pippin. I do let them up on the counter (Bingley loves to drink from the faucet) and there are times where I don't have enough room to do what I need to do.

before i got my max two months ago, damian would follow everyone into the bathroom with them. i guess he figured you couldn't get away from him and he could get all the petting he wants while we were in there!
